UI for planning application
The Van Nieuwpoort Group consists of a chain of companies supplying construction raw materials and products. Its business activities focus on area development, the sustainable extraction and trading of construction raw materials and the production of concrete and EPS products. These activities have provided a strong foundation for construction for decades. And provide these companies with a complete range of products.
A multi-year project has started to provide a consistent, robust and user-friendly web based platform for sales, planning and supply management. The first module, called in Dutch ‘Regisseur’ (Director), is build to support the Planning Department in their daily operations of planning Truck and Ship trips. After building an initial functional version based primarily on OutSystems UI framework, the second iteration focused on a custom design that combines UI consistency across Truck, Ship and Depot planning with smart functionality that helps the planner make planning choices.
